Indian Spiced Cheese (Paneer)

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes


  • Coconut oil or ghee - 3-4 tablespoons

  • 1 package of organic grass-fed paneer (or homemade if you know how to make it!)

  • 1 onion

  • 2 tomatoes

  • A handful of chopped cilantro

  • Frozen or fresh mixed bell peppers 

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • 2 teaspoons garam masala

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice


  1. Chop the paneer into cubes, and dice veggies (onions, tomatoes, peppers) 
  2. Add onions to 3-4 tablespoons of hot oil (coconut oil or ghee) on a pan and saute until they become transparent and browned
  3. Add tomatoes and all spices / salt and saute until they are softened
  4. Add paneer and let pieces pan fry
  5. Add peppers and let them cook down
  6. At the end, add lemon juice and garnish with cilantro
  7. Serve hot!
